The concept for the 2021 Collaborative course is based on empirical research (critical thinking) in the fields of society,<\/i> community and communication, targeting in <\/i>Migration, Integration and Media<\/b> diverse perspectives. JGU – Johannes Gutenberg University, Mainz, Germany & HAC – Hadassah Academic College, Jerusalem, Israel – students asked to explore the wide range of circumstances leading to migration and integration of people from the western world, and others from around the globe, moving from their home countries.<\/i> Furthermore, we seek to shed light on the role of the media in reflecting on these processes, and how it affects large communities.<\/i><\/p>\nThe role of media<\/h3>\n
The concept of migration is becoming prevalent\u00a0to politics and international relations. Mass migration that we can witness in the refugee crisis has an enormous\u00a0impact on political, social and economic systems. Media and especially new media have a huge potential to play in managing these phenomena and it is our responsibility to find the best ways and best tools to manage it in a way that will benefit societies.<\/p>\n

She has studied in Mainz and Paris and worked in Germany and England for Newspapers, Broadcasting Companies & Theatre.<\/em><\/p>\n She currently works on her PhD in the field of specialized journalism, conducting an international comparative study on the question of how political gastronomy journalism should be.
